UEFA.com – Welsh football correspondent
Providing regular content for the official UEFA website mainly through my own initiative, I have provided comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the game in Wales. This has varied from interviews with Roberto Martinez and Jens Lehmann on the eve of the 2014 UEFA Champions League final, to Wrexham Futsal Club’s European debut in 2013. I have provided extensive and consistent domestic league and cup coverage as well as features on the fortunes of Welsh teams competing in the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. However, the main basis of my content centres around international football, with comprehensive coverage of both the senior men’s and women’s teams, together with all of the intermediate teams.
UEFA EURO 2016 – Wales reporter
For the duration of the UEFA EURO 2016 finals I covered Wales for UEFA and their broadcast partners. With exclusive and unparalleled access to the team, I provided live daily updates from the team base covering training sessions and press conferences for UEFA.com, and performed daily 1-2-1 interviews that were made available to broadcasters around the world. In addition, I was guaranteed an exclusive interview with manager Chris Coleman and captain Ashley Williams the day before each match, an exclusive interview with the Carlsberg Man of the Match, and access to the VIP area at each Wales match to interview various celebrities ahead of the game. This was in addition to pre and post-match flash interviews and producing various written analysis features for UEFA.com. I also regularly discussed the fortunes of Chris Coleman’s side on the official UEFA EURO 2016 podcast.

Jury Member – UEFA Best Player in Europe and UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe awards
The voting procedure was performed during the UEFA Champions League 2013 draw in Monaco, and I was appointed as the Welsh representative to vote on this prestigious award. One journalist from each UEFA member association receives a vote. Following the award I was invited to spend two days at Bayern Munich FC to watch the club compete in the UEFA Champions League, observe a private training session and attend an exclusive press briefing with award winner Franck Ribery, CEO Karl-Heinze Rummenigge and former manager Pep Guardiola. In 2016 I was elected as one of 20 jury members from across Europe to represent Wales and vote on the women’s equivalent award.

Featured writer for Sportskeeda
In 2017, I became a featured writer for Sportskeeda, the most popular sports website in India. My stories focus on the main talking points across Europe’s top five leagues with an emphasis on taking a different angle on some of the biggest stories to provide debate and an alternative opinion.
Wales Under-21 Press and Media Officer
As part of the UEFA U21 qualifying campaign I was appointed as the Wales U21 Team Press and Media Officer to travel with the team for two qualifying games in Bulgaria and Romania in March 2016. This involved conducting pre and post-match interviews for FAW radio and producing various features, written content and photographs for the FAW website over the course of the two games. During the match I was responsible for providing live coverage across the official FAW social media accounts. I was also responsible for accompanying and supporting manager Geraint Williams with his media commitments.
Port Talbot Town FC Press and Media Officer
For over a decade I worked as the Press and Media Officer and former Welsh Premier League club Port Talbot Town. Prior to my appointment the club had no formal press or media position and I subsequently created and defined the role during my time at the club. During this period I had sole responsibility for all digital and printed content including the official website and match programme, press releases and accreditation arrangements, and held this position when the club competed in the 2010/11 UEFA Europa League. The club website was awarded Welsh Football Magazine Best New Welsh Football Website in 2001 and Welsh Football Magazine Best Welsh Football Website in 2003.
In addition to the above, I continue to provide various content for a range of publications, and since 2011 I have written an exclusive Welsh football column in the programme of Wrexham FC. I also provide regular content for the official Wales match programme and the official Wales ‘Together, Stronger’ magazine. My work has also been discussed in various books including ‘Every Silver Lining has a Cloud’ and ‘The Dragon Roars Again’. In 2012 I contributed to the Swansea City commemorative centenary publication.
